Playtech Limited, an online gambling software designer and provider has publicised that David Mathewson is to step down from its board of directors at the end of the year whilst existing Finance Vice-President, Ron Hoffman, is to take the role of Group Finance Director.
Playtech said that 36-year-old Hoffman is a qualified accountant with more than 8 years of experience as a member of its finance team and also kept a management position at Ernst & Young in Israel from 2002 to 2004.
Chairman for Isle of Man-based Playtech, Roger Withers said, “I am delighted that Ron is joining the Playtech board at this important time in the company’s development,”
“He has considerable experience within Playtech’s business and has been integral to all of the group’s successful acquisitions over the last few years and worked closely with David Mathewson.
“On behalf of the board, I would like to thank David for his important contribution to Playtech, in helping the company through to raising capital and the move to the main market and we wish him well in his future.”
