The gaming publication Softpedia reports that Microsoft is to launch a new poker game on the Windows 8 platform, offering Xbox Live support to play with real competitors online.
World Series of Poker: Full House Pro will be distributed via the Windows Store & will be available in the northern hemisphere spring at no cost to users, with a free stack of chips given to each user every day.
The game will offer support for both Xbox 360 & Windows 8 platforms, & single player games will also be available for those who wish to improve their skills before going online, with multiple gameplay modes by choice.
The game includes avatar facilities & commentary from World Series of Poker on ESPN announcers Lon McEachern & Norman Chad.
