Players & affiliates of Pokerkings.com, an online poker operator on the International Poker Network powered by Boss Media received notifications this week that the site was closing on February 28.
Players were urged to clear their accounts before the shut down; those who do not will receive their account balances via the last transaction method that they used.
The reasons for Pokerking's departure are not clear; the email to customers merely states that the company has evaluated its commercial options in view of its resources & the current market, & has decided to "consolidate product development" by closing Pokerkings.
The enterprise was founded in 2007 by the Gaming VC Corporation Limited Casinos, & registered under the jurisdiction of Malta. It did not accept US action.
